According to Dean Six's book 'West Virginia Glass' these plates are part of the Genova line by Morgantown. Six specifically says that these are often mistaken for Steuben. I contacted the seller with this info and was told (rudely) that since the plates were bought in Corning NY from an all Steuben auction they MUST be Steuben. He showed no interest in following up on the info I provided and persists in trying to sell these as Steuben.
