
The F.O.E. Marks File
On this page, we list common porcelain/pottery marks that either are or were used on fakes, reproductions or brand new items 'trimmed' to look old. Every story told you by the seller declaring the items being something else as described here is definately NOT TRUE, and some even come up with false 'proof'. If you encounter such an 'antique', REPORT these immediately!

Arnart Creations: Items made in Japan, copied mark. Original used by the Voigt Brothers (Sitzendorf, Thuringia) who never used such printed numbers.

HomCo: Items made in Japan, copied mark (Arnart uses three feathers). Original used by the Kalk facility (Eisenberg, Thuringia) with three feathers and no such numbers.

Unknown: Copied mark. Original used by the Ludwigsburg facility (Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wuerttemberg) who never marked in gold or overglaze.

Unknown: Copied mark on the same piece but underglaze, probably to 'convince' potential buyers.

Neundorf Zier-Porzellan: Items mostly made in China, older version in gold.

Unknown: This is a new one that just appeared, mostly sold by people that at a time sold Neundorf items.

Wong Lee or Wa(h) Lee: Items made in China, brand new REPRO junk.

Unknown: Items made in China, nearly all pieces carry the 'decorator mark' 1078. Original used by Greiner (Rauenstein, Thuringia).
