About this site
Hi there! First, let me introduce myself: my name is Lee Berkovits, the owner of this site. I'm a dealer in antiques and collectibles, a Powerseller on eBay, and fed up with their unwillingness to clean up their act.

What I am doing, and intend to do:
I want to buy items that I know to be fake but that are being sold as real and then contact the proper legal authorities and take appropriate action.
eBay will be given every opportunity to cooperate - I welcome their assistance. And they will be given every opportunity to respond on these pages - their views are important to us, and should be heard.
But, if eBay won't act on their own, then I and others who care about this will (already are) going to take matters into our own hands and force the issue.
eBay can't keep ducking this forever, and the time has long been passed when someone forces them to realize this. Tiffany & Co. is suing them over their ineffective VeRO program.
But eBay doesn't even HAVE such a program for antiques and collectibles. Truthfully, these areas are rapidly becoming a very tiny part of eBay's business - and probably should be set up separately from the rest of eBay. But that is a possibility for the future to decide.
Right now, I just want to start by eliminating from eBay one bad dealer that has been discovered opporating under a variety of different eBbay ID's.
Start small, then work up. That's my goal.
Please do make any comments that you might have on any of this. This site is brand new - and totally undeveloped. I will be posting more as soon as I have more to post. And as time allows.
Any and all suggestions as to how to proceed will be greatfully received, you can email me with your ideas and information. I have also provided a Fraud Report Form if you want to report a case of fraud on eBay. Thank you.
Thank you,
Lee Berkovits
